1968
The Isle
of Islay, where Ian was brought up, was Ian's parents choice
for a holiday. Sheila, Ian and Jennifer stayed with them and
had their honeymoon too! |

1969
Elie
was a family holiday haunt for generations of the family. We
blocked the toilet in our cottage with nappies! 'Fishing' for
eating crabs in the rocks was great fun. |

In the
back garden of the first house we owned - 120 Acomb Crescent,
Red House Farm, Gosforth. Alan was called 'bruiser' as can just
be seen in this picture! |

'Judy'
Granny's garden in Broughty Ferry (4 Campfield Road) was always
beautiful. The children are in the back garden sitting on Ian's
recently laid 3' X 2' paving. |

1972
We'd
just bought a 'new' car - a blue Ford Cortina - and went for
a Sunday run. Stopping near the banks of the Tyne, for one of
the first pictures with all 3 children. |

1973
Another
holiday in Scotland. Shell Bay, between Lundin Links and Elie
was a popular beach, with many happy days spent sunbathing and
swimming there. |
