The Davie Family History by Dorothy Swanson

Katherine Moira Goodall (née Davie), continued

Moira and Bill enjoyed a happy retirement, taking travel holidays in Europe and the UK. Both enjoyed good health, until in 1990 Moira unexpectedly suffered a stroke, and was released from a state of severe disability fourteen months later when she passed away.

Moira was above all a loving, caring and supportive mother, proud of her son Ian's achievements, as well as accepting of his mistakes. She tolerated her daughter Moira's non-conformist lifestyle and tried to help her overcome trauma experienced in infancy and childhood. Both would always be her lovely children.
